O último unicórnio?
Há mais de uma década que não se via nenhum saola, um antílope do Sudeste asiático descoberto nos anos de 1990. Uma equipa da União Internacional para a Conservação da Natureza (IUCN) chegou a tempo de ver e fotografar os últimos momentos de vida de um Pseudoryx nghetinhensis, capturado por pessoas de uma aldeia da província de Bolikhamxay, no Laos. O mamífero herbívoro tem dois cornos na cabeça, mas é apelidado de unicórnio e está em estado crítico na Lista Vermelha das espécies. Fotografia: IUCN/Reuters
